DECLARATION

  1. BE IT RESOLVED that the nations of Iraq and Iran cease the senseless war that pits Iraqi-Assyrian against Iranian-Assyrian. Both countries are the losers as are the Assyrian Christian minorities there. 
  2. BE IT RESOLVED that the Assyrian Universal Alliance make clear its position that it has not and will not be involved in encouraging our Assyrian people to leave their homeland. Our people have more claims to Bet-Nahrian their Islamic captors. 
  3. BE IT RESOLVED that the 13th Congress hereby wishes to protest against the existence of the Syrian Armed Forces in Lebanon, where the Assyrian Christians and others are being killed by the irresponsible firing of armor and missiles. These forces should be pulled out and replaced by United Nations peacekeeping forces. 
  4. BE IT RESOLVED that the Assyrian Universal Alliance is committed to the creation of complete unity in the Assyrian Nation and will continue to strive to maintain that unity.
